Enjoy the Creativity in Doodle Art
Doodling is a simple and enjoyable way to relax, unwind, and explore your creativity. Let your pen move freely across the page, creating shapes, patterns, lines, or images—whatever comes naturally.
Once your doodles begin to take shape, add colour using pens, pencils, paints, or crayons to create your own unique piece of art. There are no rules and no right or wrong results—just enjoy the process and allow your imagination to flow.
Not sure how to start?
A blank page can sometimes feel intimidating. Many artists find it easier to begin once the white space has been broken. Even a simple mark, line, or splash of colour can provide the spark needed to get started.
To help you begin, I've created a selection of downloadable and printable doodle starter pages. Each page contains a simple mark or doodle shape that you can use as a launchpad for your own creativity. Let these starting points inspire you and see where your imagination takes you.
There is no destination—just enjoy the process and create something uniquely yours.

Enjoy free Expression in Abstract Art
Play with colour, texture, movement, and emotion on canvas, allowing the painting to evolve intuitively. Abstract art offers a wonderful way to express yourself freely, without the rules or expectations of realism.
You might begin with inspiration from nature, such as a flower or landscape, or simply start with a colour, feeling, or memory and see where it takes you.
Create Your Own Abstract Artwork
You will need:
-
Canvas
-
Acrylic paints
-
Large flat brush and other brushes
-
Palette knife or scraper
-
Sponge
-
Cardboard, toothbrush, or other textured objects
Getting Started:
Choose one main colour and add two complementary colours. Cover your canvas with the base colour and allow it to dry.
Then experiment with your other colours. Scrape, sponge, flick, push, layer, and play with the paint to create movement and texture. Focus on the process rather than creating a recognisable picture. Just play with the paint in whatever way feels fun or right.
Let your emotions and imagination guide you. Add touches of white for highlights, depth, and contrast.
Most importantly, experiment, express, and enjoy the creative process. Your abstract artwork is unique because it reflects your own feelings, energy, and imagination.

Dance
Dance for Connection, Joy and Wellbeing
“Anybody can and should dance … it’s good for the body and the spirit.”
— Isadora Duncan
One of the simplest ways to lift your mood and release stress is to dance. Put on a favourite song, find a space where you feel comfortable, and allow the music to move you. There’s no right or wrong way to dance—just move in whatever way feels natural to you.
Dancing together is a simple, joyful way for parents and children to connect, have fun, and support emotional wellbeing. Let your child lead and enjoy trying out new moves and having fun together, connecting through movement is good when words are tricky or emotions are getting in the way.
Dance for all of us, can help clear the mind, release tension, and lift the spirit.Dancing together can help children express emotions, build confidence, release energy, and feel connected and seen.
My love of contemporary dance comes from the freedom it offers. Dance has taught me to express emotions through movement, trust my instincts, and connect with my own sense of self. It’s a space where there are no rules—just the freedom to move, feel, express, and be yourself.
So choose a song you both love, put aside the everyday distractions, and let the music create a moment of connection, laughter, movement, and joy. Or just dance for yourself and release some tension.
