Introduction to Essential Oils

Essential oils provide a beautiful way to enhance your health and wellbeing. Essential oils are the essence of a plant. Hidden in roots, seeds, flowers, bark, are concentrated, highly potent chemical compounds. These natural compounds are essential oils. They give a plant its scent, protect it from hazardous environmental conditions, and even assist it with pollination, among other important functions and benefits.

Essential oils can provide us with many benefits, from helping us to relax and sleep, to soothing skin irritations and muscle pain, to enhancing and rejuvenating skin, to helping with other aches,

discomforts, menstrual pain, headaches etc.  They provide

emotional support, mental alleviation, and physical release.

Essential oils can be used, personally, in various ways:

1. Inhaled AROMATICALLY

2. Applied TOPICALLY

3. Taken INTERNALLY
