Mindful Colouring

Choosing colours to suit your mood or that you are drawn to, can help create a piece of healing art. The colours vibration will bring you what you need for your mind, body and spirit. For example, the colour yellow resonates to the solar plexus and is good for helping deal with an overload of emotions and releasing them, pink is a very peaceful and healing colour, blue is good for communication (and connects to the throat chakra) and red is grounding and helps with action and getting things done (base chakra).
Just use colours that speak to you and your colouring will become a healing exercise as well. The act of absorbing yourself in colouring is also good for switching-off your mind and allowing the joy of the activity take over and engage your mind. See it as a quick mindful reboot.
